My dad's neighbor has been missing for four months. He told his wife he was going out for a haircut and never came back. People in the neighborhood have been complaining about an odor for months, but nobody could locate the source. Today he was found in his car, in the garage of some people who've been traveling since April. They had given him the remote so he could keep an eye on their place.

The second is even more bizarre. My nephew is doing a college internship in Greenwich Village in NY, and some guy dressed in a leather S&M outfit hanged himself on a four-foot fence out front. Apparently it was an erotic asphyxiation thing, where he was leaning into a rope, but accidentally lost consciousness. The really good part is that he was dressed so strangely, including a leather hood, that everyone thought it was a Halloween decoration, and he was out there all day.

A guy parked his car in front of the River Rouge city hall and police department and shot himself in the head a few years back.

It was winter and it started snowing.

The parking wenches started to give him parking tickets.

He ended up with several parking tickets but no one bother to check on the slumped over driver partially hidden by the snow.

They called the wrecker after he got so many tickets they couldnt stuff anymore under the wiper.

The wrecker driver was the one who found him when he slimjimed the door.

At least it was cold outside and he was well preserved.

"Strange" in that part of NY is the norm.

No shit.  Greenwich village is like some kind of weird Tim Burton designed housing development for freaks.

My neighbor in Utah did himself in by parking on the shoulder of I-84 and blowing his head off with a shotgun in his car.  The state troopers found him like that a few hours later when they stopped to investigate the "abandoned" vehicle.

Yeah, my nephew's getting quite an education, apart from his college studies.
