1. I just installed a 1gb stick of memory (I had 512 before.) While it is running faster, if I get too many programs going, it crashes. The computer gets the blue screen of death and I have to reboot. i bought another gig and I couldnt do anything without it crashing! What do I do?
2. Sometimes I can get on the internet, other times I cant, I think its my ISP. Maily I think its the router box that im renting from them. Should I call them up or could it be my computer? I think its the box because sometimes the cable light doesnt come on, and sometimes it switches to the pc light. I dont know whats going on... |

obviously its something with that stick of ram. turn hte machine off unplug all power from the machine. reseat the memory. if that doesn't work. verify the memory you ordered with WORK with your motherboard, if it won't attempt to exchange it for the correct memory.
or there is the rare chance you have a bad stick of new memory. google memtest86 and you can use it to test your memory |
