Great film! The title is about the only connection to the Hemingway novel it was "adapted" from.
Lauren Bacall was so sexy and sultry without showing hardly any skin at all. If the movie were made today, her role would be played by a bulimic cunt wearing barely more than a bra and panty set and acting like a man. Of course somebody would have to because we would also have some metrosexual boy toy playing Steve. "One of you is going to take a beating for nothing"
