I dont think they would be that deluded....oh, they will rattle the sabers and scream "Death to the Jews" to appease their hardliners, but I think many of their leaders know the cost of such an attack........

If Israel suffers an NBC attack that they can point to iran as being responsible for, I have no doubt they would respond with nuclear weapons. That said, if they respond to conventional weapons with Special ones, your postulation would also be correct.

Yeah and it gives reasons why Imadinnerjacket and the Aytollah shouldn't depend on support, but truthfully when has the Leadership of Iran gave two shits about the populations opinion. I am drinking and posting FYI
I really hope for the sake of the iranian population (all iranians I know are not nutjobs and fairly cool people-of course, these people fled the fall of the shah) that they don't try to take on the regions' only real nuclear power. That would be a lot of innocent iranian blood mixed in with the glass parking lot that that place would become. |
