I know it has been discussed here before...in a thread about Sandy maybe. anyway I ordered two of these lights and I must say they are out of this world for the price. $5.20 shipped from Amazon.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006E0QAFY/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 3 settings. Bright, dim, pulse or strobe setting. Very bright, well made, run on one AA battery. I'm buying more! Great for Christmas. |

Dealextreme.com not worth the long wait time for almost a month and if it breaks good luck getting it replaced. I agree about the wait time––Took about a month for my last dealextreme order to get to TX. I ordered two similar models (that took rechargeable 18650's) and two mounting "brackets" for my mountain bike. Now I've got a 170 lumen, 2-hour runtime bike light for $9 and it works great. I consider these inexpensive Chinese lights almost as throwaways and always have my Streamlights and Surefires ready for front-line duty. |

If you're knocked out with these weenie lights, you haven't seen any good flashlights. Yes, I got one just for grins, but it's a weak tit compared to even the puniest of my real LED lights.
Get a $12 501B with an XM-L emitter and prepare to be blinded. If you're willing to learn about rechargeable lithium ion batteries, you can get an 18650 and a charger cheap on dealextreme and have some real light. |

A LOT of chargers have shitty circuitry, and are a fire hazard. Now that DX has a US warehouse, shipping should be faster. |

Dealextreme.com Bought three lights from them, none of them worked. While I do understand expecting a product to work out of the box, did you attempt repairing any? I've had one flicker bad, but all it required was a little sandpaper on the clicky-switch retaining ring, and it's still working 3 yrs later. The rest are usually replaced by DX, even though waiting is a hassle. |

Son of a bitch...are you people EVER happy about anything???Fuck. Just don't buy one. Hell no. If GD worked in a pie factory at least half would bitch, "waaahhhh, there's too much whipped cream in this pie factory, waaaahhhhh" FWIW, $5 for a light to keep in the glovebox of the car isn't bad. I may pick up a few the next time I order from Amazon. |

I have a few of these Energizer lights for edc, car, etc. They work pretty good for a $15 light. Do you think I can run one 14500 battery without blowing it up? http://www.energizer.com/flashlights-lighting/flashlights/flashlight/Pages/tactical-metal-1aa-1-watt-light.aspx
