How long do you think it will take law websites to remove the AWB related sections of the US Code after it sunsets?

Makes me wonder if people will get confused if the code is still in the archives and such, but not "on the books", like they were confused about the AWB ammendment on  S1805.

They won't remove it. The expiration is part of the statute.

I guess I thought that it would remove itself after 10 yrs, not just make itself ineffective. Hmm.

Could somone try and still prosecute under it if it was still in the code and the defendant didnot know that is had expired? It seems that leaving it in could cause much confusion.
