Meh. Over-rated. "We're the best!" "The most battle-hardened veterans in the world!" A lot of self-aggrandizing baloney. The IDF performed pretty badly in the war of 2006, and the Israelis are notoriously shy of taking losses. Even when they were on the verge of victory, they pulled back and let Hizbollah claim victory. Israel is getting soft, and they're going to really take it in the shorts someday unless they become more realistic about the nature of their neighbors. |

Maybe that had more to do with Jews getting beat up in streets of Eurabia and the oil lobbies threats against the West to make Israel stop or they'll stop pumping? Israel is not getting soft - world is getting more aligned against them with Oil Lobby increased power on world stage who's vehemently anti-israel, mass immigration of Muslims to former allies lands who now vote and have sway in those former allies countries, combined with good old antisemitism has relegated Israel to self defense only under most egregious infractions by the enemies all around them. And even then it's micromanaged by world powers. |
