I'm just amazed at the used 320 at the pawn shop for $900. It's some fancy edition, but still.  It's been there for the better part of a year. I just want to know if the shop thinks they will get a customer that knows enough about Sig to recognize this special edition, and also doesn't know about all the holster pops. |

Tolerance stacking, defective parts, terrible design, etc. From the most recent Sigcident, consensus from the witnesses was there was nothing in the holster except a piece of shit handgun. |

I haven't kept up with events in the SIG word, but did see this 320 sell at Cabela's for 2 Ben Franklins So I assume it did not end on that day, and the problem is still ongoing.. ? Is this indicative of the market value of these pistols? Attached File |

There are roughly 4 million Sig 320 variants in the wild. There are roughly 400 Sigcidents, a failure rate of one in ten thousand. Shadow Systems has a higher failure rate than that. My store was involved in or on the periphery of 10 Sigcidents. All of them were proven to be user error. Sometimes hilariously so. I'm sure some are real, but extrapolating that rate of failure out doesn't look good for the hysterical guntoobers. WITH THAT SAID The Sig 320 is a dogshit design seemingly pulled directly from a book of Rube Goldberg and early 90s afternoon Disney cartoons for the express reasons of avoiding patents and keeping holster dimensions the same from the previous generation of failed handguns. It is a wonderful thought experiment and proof of concept, but there's no way in hell im pointing one at my beanbag. I've now built 3...4? from 80%s with another 3 or more planned, have repaired multiple for myself and for PDs, and every time I say this is the last time I'm touching the $&@?!%#€£¥?$&@?!#%€£¥ things with a 10ft pole. I can figure out how a Glock works. I can figure out how a 1911 works. I know what all the parts do and how they interact mechanically. I can make a Sig 320 and make it run, I just don't know why it does. The Flux Raider is the greatest expression of the 320. There's no need for the pistol to exist. With the introduction of the 365 Fuse, the 320 should be gracefully retired, Ron Cohen should be separated acrimoniously from the company, and this whole debacle should end. |

I think there is probably something here to this i am sure that the odd ball engineering, questionable qc at times and various human factors all contribute to the current state of the 320 and in 2026 i dont see the need to have to entertain using a pistol that absolutly doesnt work for you. there are so many good striker fired pistols out there. |
