Shameful to say, I don't have any decent sleeping bags.  All I have are some cheap sleeping bags that kids use at a sleep over.  Well, the Mrs. is about to go for some predeployment training and came home with this issued system.  It really is nice and heavy duty, but it's a very heavy system.  I'm considering buying 2 of them for us but wanted to come here first.  I am not interested in buying a bunch of individual bags to suit different climates, so a sleep system of some sort is best for me.

My question to you all is:  Are there any better alternatives for $150?

Check ebay or your local surplus shop before you pay $150 for a single bag.

Yea, they're on Amazon and Ebay from surplus stores.  The whole system (all 3 bags and compression sack) is at $130 from the retailer I'm looking at.
