I guess they've got their fair share of lemons as Chrysler does.  I really like Taurus, I own 3, PT92, PT945(ported), 1911B and have no complaints. My favorite feature is the ambi-safety on the frame -vs- the slide. I'm a lefty and Taurus is very SouthPaw friendly. Unlike Colt, Beretta, and Sig. Taurus at least thought about us SouthPaws. I picked the PT92 over a Beretta because I hate the safety. Yes, it's ambi, but have you noticed how small the lever is for the lefty  Also, look at Sigs(and yes I love 'em too).......Unpossible for a lefty to safely use the Decocker  Look at ALL ComBlock Commie guns....Makarov, CZ 52, AK's, Tokarev's, do you see a pattern developing It's a conspiracy I tell ya!!! A right-handed conspiracy to keep us left-handed shooters down!!!    Edit to add Sig Decocker

What safety? Sigs only have decockers from what I've seen and handled.
