Why don't they make copies of the M-9 Pistol or the Model 29 Revolver? Also, wouldn't it be cool to have a semi-auto model of the M93?

Taurus not only made the 92s for Beretta, but improved the model and slapped their name on it. Taurus doesn't make cheap knock offs, Beretta has been making them since cutting ties with Taurus. Thinking otherwise is like those that say the Cetme is a HK knock off.

A better question: Why can't Taurus make a decent firearm of ANY type, let alone the knockoffs of other company's designs. 
Every few years the gun rags come out with another article proclaiming the "good and high quality guns of Taurus now, not like the junk they used to produce." The only original gun they have is the Judge. Whoopie! 
Edit to add: Here's a good rule for life, which is typified by Taurus: If a company's ONLY selling point is price, then it's best to avoid them.
