Not bad, but calling that a laptop is deceiving cause that thing is fucking HUGE

Looks good to me. Enjoy!

What is it that make the Core 2 Duos so good?

Most of those units have INTEGRATED RAM.

I would recommend finding one for a couple hundred less and get a 3 yr warranty and accidental damage protection.

I just bought this one and I am very happy with it. If you plan to do much gaming, you won't want something with an integrated graphics card.

I usually have good luck with MicroCenter.

Here's their Toshibas -
www.microcenter.com/search_results_e.phtml?category_title=&search_id=c7c19b0e9989ea894ffd691d5b42f545&sort_by=&manufacturer_title=Toshiba

I'm not familiar with Toshiba model numbers so I don't know if any of these models are close to what you're looking at. Note: prices with a dollar sign next to the price means that there's a rebate available.

Do you need the 17.0" Widescreen?

www.xpbargains.com/#80033

Everything is the same except display, it is 15.4 WXGA TrueBrite LCD.

$1199 - $200 Rebates = $1000
