Purely from a fan’s perspective, I’d rather just lose. Make the score more respectable, sure, but don’t give me false hope that you’re actually going to win. I think it’s less gut-wretching to know with 99% certainly you’re going to lose by halftime than to watch your team mount a comeback, tie the game, make you believe they’re going to win, and then just blow it in the final minute. YMMV. |

I just don't understand how the OU offense could be worse than last year. Definitely the worst offense in the SEC, most likely the nation. They ran off Jeff Lebby (Who is doing incredible things at MSU) and replaced him with a much inferior product. Just mind-blowing. Edit: I like this Coach Eck from NM. True, but we’re only 3 games in. The stats don’t mean much. For example, Ole Miss is middle of the pack having played multiple ranked teams while Georgia, Florida, and Alabama are the top 3 and they haven’t played anyone. |
