They were part of the Loiusiana purchase....most of the south was.  That's why the south lost the Civil war....because they have french blood in the family line.

That's one of the reason that I love TEXAS so much. Any place that's had Tennesseean blood spilt on it must be worth fighting and dying for. Plus I love the "free" spirit that they have. Ya' just can't beat Tennessee and Texas.

You obviously went to school somewhere besides the great state of Texas if you think we were a part of the Louisiana Purchase.

Pay attention in History 101 next time Sarge. Texas was not part of the LA Purchase.
