I haven't seen any BCM parts in stock for almost a year. I thought they went out of business. I use to be a HUGE fanboy, but Im not buying something that I cant get replacement/repair parts for..

I don't see any proprietary parts on that upper. You could parts for it from anywhere.

BCM has been back ordered forever, and for a good reason.

One of these days, when things finally settle a bit, they will be able to keep inventory longer than 10 Minutes.

Complete BCM lowers in stock at rainiers too

The bolt acts as a piston inside the bolt carrier group. It's not actually direct impingement.

I usually shop around, to avoid taxes

But BCM knows how to treat a customer

After the Troy Incident I went from being set on the Alpha to the Fortis or NSR. I settled on the NSR but I still want that Fortis.

I don't, but I have a similar set up (mine's not a lightweight, and its an A2X instead of the BCM.) That's gonna be a nice rifle.

When I had time to shoot a lot, I cleaned my at maybe once a year. Suppressed, unsuppressed, semi and auto. Never had any issues.

Very nice looking upper. I wasn't familiar with Fortis, but I just added them to my bookmarks.

And for the haters: BCM has a lot of stuff in stock now that has been scarce previously. M16 BCGs? Check. Decent selection of barrels? Check. Upper receiver groups? They have a whole shitload of them in stock.

And DI rocks, pistons suck
