Going to eat sushi with the girlfriend.
That is all. Who likes Sushi? |

Sushi rules. Don't buy into the stereotype that it is all raw fish, there are myriad of different things to try, a lot of them cooked. Just FYI, I recommend avoiding Uni at all costs. It tastes like a combination of feet and the way old people's houses smell.

Sushi??? In Oklahoma????? I think I'll pass...... You would be surprised, I ate at a great place near OKC a couple of months ago. Just as good as the stuff I had when i had some in San Diego. I wouldn't doubt it. I was half joking, although I'm always a little leery of eating sushi in locals that aren't within 100 miles or so of salt-water. There are a couple of restaurants around my neck of the woods that offer sushi. My guess is that most of the stuff is frozen because both the texture and taste are off just a bit. It is acceptable though, in a pinch. Some of the best sushi I've ever had was at a place called Kotobuki in Hauppauge, NY. Enjoy your dinner! |

There are definitely places that I would not eat sushi from. But then again sometimes I tend to eat it anyway lol. Just love the stuff so much! |

I am going for Sushi in Murrietta California this evening. The best damn sushi in the country! Where at in Murrietta? I was up near there not too long ago and ate at Shogun's. I fuckin love sushi. I made a tuna roll, inside out for a dinner pic not too long ago. |

Had it for lunch and am going to eat it for dinner In my experience if you didn't like sushi the first time you tried it you went to a bad restaurant. If you walk in and see rolls on little train cars rolling around the room turn around and leave. Almost all sushi is only really good when it's absolutely fresh, as in made to order and served within a few minutes. |

It's "flash-frozen" at -30 to -40 to kill off parasites in order to be "sushi-grade" Often land-locked areas have better sushi because only sushi-grade fish is available. DO NOT eat sushi that hasn't been previously frozen - you can get some nasty little worms..... -JC |

My Thai ex-girlfriend's brother is now a Buddhist monk, but used to be a professional sushi chef. He wouldn't eat, but would order for us at the restaurant of a friend of his. VERY inexpensive, but VERY fresh.
