Go LED.
My personal preference is the LTR1. I think its the best value. Usually go for about $100 IIRC. http://www.streamlight.com/product/product.aspx?pid=80 I've also got an M3X that I am happy with as well. I know there are some more expensive ones out there (X200 & X300), but I'm not sure that there is any benefit to them. eta: I own surefire products as well. I have an E1B and a G2 LED. I don't own their weapon mounted lights though...but I definitely know what a good flashlight can do, and I like the M3X and TLR-1 (especially). |
