Im looking for a new EDC light and surefire seems to make two lights that are both half what I want. I would like to find a 2 x CR123A, single mode, momentary only light. Surefire makes the P3X Fury Tactical which is 3 x CR123A, single mode and has a tail switch that is press for momentary and twist for constant on, this is pretty close but a bit large. Then Surefire also makes the P2X Fury Tactical which is single mode, 2 x CR123A but the soft push for momentary full push for constant on tailcap that I was trying to get away from.
Can I buy the tailcap switch for the P3X Fury Tactical and put it on a P2X? And if so, where can I find it? My googlefoo has failed me. |

Call them and ask if you could buy a compatible twist cap. That or check out the 6PX Tactical, it has the cap you want. Bumps you down to 320 lumens though. I'll have to call, I was just hoping GD would have a quick answer. I saw the 6PX but I would like a bit more light than that. I carry a FourSevens Preon 2 as well as a general purpose light and that's ~200 lumens, so I'm looking for something that is a bigger step up than the 6PX offers. Thanks |
