I have only been voting for four years.  I'm proud to say that my first vote went to Dubya.  How does voter registration work?  Is it permanant?  Obviously I was registered four years ago, and I voted in the local elections two years ago.  Do I just wait for the info to be mailed to me?

And don't laugh.
