Looks like a great light. Anyone ever owned or used one?
Blue. IR. Green White. Head swivels. Tough clip. Light weight.

ETA UPDATE:

Why can my ipad see the IR but my iphone can't?

So, important to leave it set on blue, green or white. If left on IR, you won't know.

They make two models.  That one, and a very compact one.  I used one for a while before I switched to a SF helmet light.  I did like the Streamlight ones.  They were very useful for me.

That would have come in handy when I worked in a power plant

We were issued those. I've used them for hours upon hours. Good light. Its also highly useful if you have any night vision. I've written with my NVG's and this light on IR mode, the batteries last for a while. Also survived many-a-canals.

Not good for a weapon/ defense light, as you have to hold the button for a second or two to get the high power mode on. White light is low enough to work for hours or bright enough to be used for about anything.

As far as dependability goes, I've seen one where the battery "port" was busted up and didn't work well. That was one out of apx 30 or so. And I'm sure it was banged up and roughed.

They make a little version of that for helmet mounting, and it's great for use with night vision.

Well,
I figured out how to use the strobe and IR functions.

I'll be in my bunk.

I'm not going to have a helmet but I want the smaller one now.
I've been using the regular size one for while now.  It's excellent.
And I'm a die hard Surefire Fanboy but I really like this light
