So, ordered the Stingray + Omega combo lcoates33 posted about and got 'em yesterday.
Took a couple tries to get things setup right. The Omega is kind of a pain in the ass to build because of how recessed the deck is. I finally got a nice 0.45 ohm dual coil setup in there and fired her up with some 6mg juice and air holes wide open. After one HUGE lung inhale, I can tell I NEED to get some zero mg juice ... and a fan

The only thing I'm not completely digging on the Stingray is the locking ring. It needs some serrations or something for better purchase. Other than that, it does what it's supposed to do and looks real good doing it. The Nemesis and it's clones don't have serrations on their respective locking rings.. So i guess that will feel familiar to me. Hopefully i'll get word about the black one i pre-ordered sometime this week.. I'm still trying real hard to not pull the trigger on a brass one though....... Dammit.

A couple things about the Omega clone that comes with the package.
As mentioned the post holes are below the level of the rim surrounding the deck which can make it a pita to build. Also, on mine at least, the center post was real bad about cutting your coil leads when you tightened it down. After several cut coils, I ended up going under the screw on the center post. I didn't seem to have that issue on the side posts. The air inlets are real close to the bottom of the deck. The first build I did, my coils where a bit too high off the deck and the vapor sucked. Once I went in a repositioned them closer to the deck it worked great. In short, a bit of a hassle to get right, but once setup properly this combo puts out monster vapor. p.s. Do not underestimate the nic hits you'll get from these huge clouds. Seriously. |

There's another weird RDA that sort of looks like a regular RDA, but it has a juice reservoir below the deck and when you want more juice, you push the spring-loaded deck downwards and juice comes up into the deck to re-soak the wicks. I can't think of the name of it, though. |

Clones are the only way i'm going to get to play with stuff as well. Someday i'd like to own an authentic Nemesis, but for now my clone does me fine.
I'm still not 100% sold on fasttech's stingray. Being that i have some hands on with a Hcigar Nem clone, and a fasttech Nem clone. I am kinda leaning towards the Hcigar stingray clone. ($15 higher than the fasttech though.) |

It came with pre-installed standard 1ohm dual-coils and what looks like silica wicks. Too bad my Vamo won't fire anything below 1.2ish ohms.
I'll have to pull them and throw in a single micro-coil and some cotton, until I get a mechanical. |
