Pre-ordered a week or two ago. I was hoping for an invite but didn't get one. This game is going to be awesome.
I'm torn between a Jedi Sentinel and a Jedi Shadow. The Sentinel is my first choice because I'm a big fan of dual-wielding lightsabers. That is how I played my Jedi back in SWG and in almost every Star Wars game. The Shadow looks intriguing because of stealth and the ability to tank if need be. Decisions, decisions. |

Honestly, I was set on playing a JK at launch, but since I played an Imperial Agent during the weekend, I am SERIOUSLY reconsidering it. The cover system is cool, but I liked the run and gun of the Bounty Hunter better. Oh, its also fun as hell to play a Sith and shoot fuckers in the face when they piss you off.

No. It does provide some evasion, but the primary means is it unlocks the major abilities of the Smuggler / Agent. You can only really pour on the DPS from cover. |

I'll chime in with NSW here and just say the game will not disappoint. I was selected to Beta test a year ago (Aug '10) and it was mindblowing even way back then. I started a guild, but have not developed it enough (only 5 members) to toss out the idea of all of us making a guild to play together. Still split on Republic or Imperial though. |

They're still planning on a holiday 2011 release, I'm thinking in December. The first weekend beta was a success and they're rolling out a new build for the previous testers to test again. After that weekend, they're going to be inviting new people every weekend to test. Cant wait to get a second run, the first was fun as hell |

Almost done with my second beta weekend, playing a sith warrior this time and the story is more epic than the jedi knight. Just think of it as 8 single player bioware games, I hate mmo's so I dont group with people  |

Everyone keeps telling me "wait for GW2." Um, no. I'm sick and tired of the 500 fantasy MMOs out there. Screw that. I want a sci-fi MMO again. I played Galaxies since about 5 months after launch and finally finished my jedi stripper a few months ago. WOW sucks, been there, done that.
And for everyone bitching about it being $60, try $150 I had to have the CE.
