I was a paramedic for the Los Angeles City Fire Department for 7 years. I worked in South Central at 77th & Vermont FS57 & North Hollywood FS60 - I can tell you that it's worse than this.. I went into homes daily where entire rooms were covered with old mattresses. Almost every patient I took to the hospital didn't have insurance and most hispanics were illegal. You are paying for that, they won't pay the hospital bill or the transport either thru taxes or billing. A lot of em' even had nice cars with aftermarket stereos, 20+" wheels, etc.. They live 10 to a small house, work under the table, sell drugs, abuse drugs & alcohol, commit crime, and collect welfare & food stamps. Their kids all go to school on our dime, classes have to divide their time between English & Spanish.. I just don't get it.
I absolutely hate the analogy some people come up with in relation to Illegal immigration, they try to say that our relatives came here illegally and in droves, especially the Irish etc.. (I'm Irish) I realize that's an easy thing to say and not to justify. When people came to this country any time before the 1930's when Social programs began, they knew that if they wanted to survive they were going to have to bust their ass to do it. They knew that they were going to probably have to build and kill everything they needed to survive, especially in the early un-developed centuries. They did not expect or need a handout, welfare, unemployment, food stamps, free education, a nice car, or anything else and it wasn't given to them. They had to work for and earn everything they had.. Today it is not that way. They come here to escape that type of living condition. Our relatives left society and gov't aide to come here and make something of their own and it wasn't easy. Whenever I hear that analogy I feel like ripping that person's head off. Anyway, just wanted to relate what I've experienced. I live in Orange Co. now in a million+ dollar neighborhood so I don't have to really experience it much anymore, but LA County is just getting worse and worse, eventually I'm not sure what is going to happen. The Mayor over there, we call him Villaretardo, is a HS dropout Mexican, and he is just going to make it worse obviously. So I guess eventually the rich actors and people involved with the movie industry will get tired of carrying all of these illegals and move out or something, but they are outnumbered at this point so anger isn't going to do it. Hopefully the economy of Los Angeles Co. will just collapse and become a model of why we need to secure the border and enforce immigration law. Have a great weekend.

More than a few BS items. Link? sorry, no linky, came from an email but all the stats were published in the L.A. times.... Only ignorant liberal assholes believe anything in the LA times. well that may be the case but if these numbers are anywhere in the ballpark then CA is screwed, which we already know is the case.... I don't think these numbers are going to be to well received by liberals either but they prove me wrong all the time..... |

Interesting. Snopes actually corroborates most of it.
