Are there any socks that will stay up when wearing boots and not travel toward the toes? I have tried many kinds, but no luck. It drives me nuts always pulling them back up.

I used to buy Wigwam socks when I lived up north and wore workboots everyday.

Pogo,

Short term solution....

"Ankle Tape"

When I am out grouse hunting or whatever, I take one pass of medical tape around my ankle, not tight, just enough to hold up my socks. Works like a charm...

I go to a Western Wear store and get Boot Socks.  I can't remember the maker but any good Western Wear shop should carry them.

They go almost all the way to your knee.  They aren't something you want to wear with shorts.  You'll catch Hell from your friends.

Do you have skinny ankles and massive calves?

If the answer is no, I recommend SmartWool socks. They're a little more expensive than most, but they are the Übersock. Pure merino wool cradling and caressing your tired dogs.

They also last better than any sock I've ever bought. Two big toes up.
