It's only 83, but our AC is anemic, so it feels almost hotter inside than it does outside. Of course, the humidity doesn't help much. At least the sun came out and is helping with the moisture a little, but it's going to be rainy tomorrow again. What's the weather like around you? Arizona and New Mexico types don't need to be talking about how it gets 83 in the winter and right now it's 472 and you think the cat's boiling but it was worse yesterday but at least it's a dry heat... |

Actually, I'm surprised destaccado says that it's only 120 in Kuwait. Kuwait and southern Iraq (Basra region) are generally 5-15 degrees hotter than the greater Baghdad metropolitan area. I spent last summer in Basrah, and summer of 2000 in Kuwait. Now those were hot. 140 degrees plus. People see pictures and ask "Why are you wearing gloves?" Well, because you can't touch anything with your bare hands. |
