Can anyone ID this snake. I came across it in southeast Texas near Lake Houston. It was less than 8" long and thinner around than my pinky. At first I thought it was a grass snake so I nudged it with my foot to move it off the side walk and it was very aggressive and tried to bite my shoe. I moved it into some brush with a stick and it was biting the stick multiple times as I moved it. Sorry for the crappy pic but its the best I could do with my cell phone.

Looks like a common (harmless) brown snake.
