Can smoothwall be configured to use a wireless card link to a WAP/router for access to the internet, and to route out through the ethernet card--basically, turning it into a fancy wireless bridge? |

Yes it can...or it can also be made to be the router as well with a wireless interface in addition to wired (obviously)...
