On certain pages of ARFCOM, my "IM Messages" lights up red, when I click on it, their are no messages. This has been going on for about two weeks. Now it says I have 2 new IM Messages, but when I click on it, again no messages.

Try checking in the "Trash" section of your IM messages to make sure the site didn't think you read them already. Trash hangs on to all messages until 4 AM Eastern every day, then discards whatever's in there.
