Distance between (1/6-1/3) and (7/6 -4/3). I got 1 which isn't correct, I used the distance formula too. I'm not sure why it didn't add up

You mean "1,6-1,3"?

ETA: I guess I have no idea what this is about.  It apparently isn't simple coordinate distance, since there are four coordinates.

I will helpfully guess 08, 07.

If point A was (1/6,1/3) and Point B was (7/6,4/3)
The distance would be sqrt(2)

P=(a,b)

If point A was (1/6,-1/3) and Point B was (7/6,-4/3)
The distance would be sqrt(2)

P=(a,b)

y of each is negative.

sqrt(2)

ETA: The vector between the two points is <1,-1>

If Im wrong its because Im real tired and have been doing Heat transfer stuff for the past 5 hours and im sorry

Yep. Sqrt(2).

Take the second point, subtract the first point (x2-x1, y2-y1).  Then take sqrt of the sum of the squares.

You are correct, for some reason my software was being retarded and didn't take sqrt 2 so I was getting angry I figured it may have been me. But guess not. Heat tranfer geeze hate to ever do that kinda business.
