I have an 87 Mercedes-Benz 300D that's in desperate need of shocks and struts, all 4. I also plan on selling the car soon, hopefully within 6 months. I want to put some cheap ones on since I won't be keeping the car for very long. Should I go with KYB, Monroe, or Gabriel? Other? |
Believe me, I know. I wouldn't put those on any car I planned on keeping for some time. Since I'm not though, I decided to throw some cheap ones on so the next owner doesn't have to deal with the bullshit suspension that I'm dealing with right now. It's seriously unsafe. My current shocks/struts are 0-5%. |
Then just get the CHEAPEST you can find, who care whos name is on the tubes? Bill |
I'll still be driving it, for about 100 miles a day, until it gets sold. I want something that's at least decent and not a total POS. If I'm picking from the bottom of the barrel, I want the better/best from it. |
