Is Sesame Street Globally syndicated? I have noticed they seem to try to pander to more and more "cultures". They're always teaching English AND Spanish words... I don't know if this is because the show is on in other countries or because they have no concept of English being the language of the USA. My son is only 7 months old, so I'm not interested in him learning about what kids in 3rd world countries live like... shapes, colors, ABC's and 123's is just fine. They also seem to be leaning more and more toward the liiberal side of the house. It's not like the old days where they would ust teach stuff.... now they have celebrity guests on there all the time. I've seen people like Suasan Sarandon, Kafi Anan, Hillary, Ellen, a variety of fags, etc. pop up on the screen. It's on while I am sitting here... my kid watches it because he digs Elmo, but once he starts to understand the shit they are teaching I'll probably start putting something else on. |
Elmo is supposed to be female. At least, that's what I've heard from the Sesame-Streeties (like Trekies). |
Actually, Bert and Ernie are homosexual... think about it. Two male characters, living together... Roger the PBS statement above. Almost everything on PBS leans left, even Nova. |

The alternative being? Cartoon Network? uneducational, brain rotting, consumer whoring, garbage. All that channel does is create shows that are based around a line of toys in order to get kids into another money wasting fad. My nephew has a toy box full of Cartoon Network endorsed plastic shit... I'll stick w/ Sesame Strasse and simply keep my finger on the mute button to censor the lineral propaganda. |
