Have you considered putting a bill number or link?

Even though both of my senators are democrats (Conrad & Dorgan) it's nice to see that they were on the right side of this one.

The bill is for the "national" language, not an "official" language.  Bunch of grandstanding about nothing.  Rather than pass what is wanted, they vote on something to avoid confontation.

Obviously, these results show that we need to vote for the Democrats this year, in order to "teach the Republicans a lesson"

yep

no mention of TN either.  Of course, a TN senator who voted down such a bill would be crucified.

I just watched a Cheerios commercial that was mostly in Spanish last night, until the announcer threw in some English at the end (and there were no subtitles, mind you).  Every legal document I see has a Spanish version.  I am counting down until all our road signs are in Spanish too.  Kids who don't speak English go to special Spanish classes to foster their 'diversity'.

English isn't going anywhere but we are making a mistake to have to write every damn thing in foreign languages (mostly Spanish) so that the people who come here never have to learn to speak English.

Senators tour the world, country etc. plus do a lot of business in town even when the Senate is in session.  Many opnly make a point to show up to vote if there vote will make a difference.  This sounds like one of the many insignificant meaningless bills that never should have gone to the floor.

It appears that extra_ammo's cut-and-paste-fu is weak.  It looks like the list is alphabetical and was cut off after Obama.
