Is it acceptable or unacceptable for someone who was never in the Marine Corps to say Semper Fi to a Marine?
I was never a Marine, but I have always viewed it as being something that only Marines should say to each other. Input from Marines is especially appreciated, so if you were in the Marine Corps then please say so. |

I used to call a good friend / co-worker (Marine) "Devil Dog" I know having spent a lot of time in the Army, that there is a big inter service rivalry between the Army and Corps and we'll always try and one-up each other in th put downs, but when the chips are down, we're brothers in arms
