Looking at scopes (new to me, only have red dots)and started to read on acog's different illuminated crosshairs, which recticle is preferred and what does subsonic and supersonic mean? (pic below is for 300 blackout, mine would be for 5.56, just reading of different types and saw this)

supersonic refers to an object moving at a speed beyond the speed of sound
subsonic refers to an object moving at a speed slower than the speed of sound I don't know your needs and would not know what the "best" reticle pattern would be for you if you're using a .300 blackout that reticle pattern should work |
