It seems like a stupid idea to me as well. I think that the better alternative is to keep the gun away from your children and teach them about firearms at a young age so that if they do happen to find the gun they don't do stupid shit with it. Even worse, it says that the bullet locks in the chamber if the trigger is pulled, so if you did have it in there and forgot about it, you have now rendered your gun suitable only for throwing at the bad guy instead of being able to shoot him. |
| Looks like a good way to get fucked. The type of person who buys those is also the type of person that would forget it was in there, and would lock up their own gun when they needed it most. If you don't want a live round in the chamber it would be better to keep it empty instead of having something that can render your gun useless in it. |
