| Just got to thinking, I have a lot. At least a dozen that havent been shot in over 10 years, a few that have gone 20 years, a couple that I have never fired and one that is two years old and brand new and havent fired yet. |
Places to shoot as much as i want is my problem too. I plan on retiring so far back in the woods Ill need a compass to find the outhouse. |
| I used to be big into collecting Gibson guitars. At one point I realized I just couldn't enjoy my case queens for fear of scratching the finish and killing the value. So I sold them off and started getting big into guns instead. I kept that philosophy though and now I always try to buy used guns. That way I don't mind shooting them which is what they were meant for anyway. |
You'll get around to shooting them when you get to it. My range here ia only open on the weekends and with the weather and other things getting in the way I sometimes have to wait a while. Today I took 6 guns to the range - 3 and 1/2 of them I have never shot since buying them over the last couple of months.. still got at least 4 more new ones I haven't shot yet - some unifinished projects. I'll get to them some day... maybe.. and if I don't, who cares? |
