| So they announced SWTOR is going f2p now all the ways up till lv 50. They are also putting a cash shop in the game. Thoughts? Would you play it? |

i did play it.. for like 4 months. no thanks. it was like a ghost town and there was very little incentive to work in groups much. maybe its just me but i didn't feel a sense of camaraderie. Same here. The story was pretty cool, but it begs the question, why couldn't they have just made a single player game (KOTOR 3)? |

More money to be made on MMOs and the time is right as the WoW nerds get restless in their caves. The same reason you will get a Fallout MMO, a COD MMO, A Halo movie then MMO, etc. The big houses have started to develop their new IPs with MMOs in mind. |

I played for a while. I was hopeful for the game originally but the developers just made a WOW clone. Played too much like a single-player game + grind. When I was starting out, I kept thinking the dialog stuff looked too familiar, then I thought It's Mass Effect of the Jedi or something. |
