Its on the same level as the CIA movie that the lead actor Colin Whatever his name is starred in. Meh, entertaining, sorta.

I can't believe Samuel Jackson agreed to be in it. He must have needed the money.

"Rolls are for John Woo movies."

I thought they made it pretty clear that the roll was just for their little competition not actually part of the qualification.

You may be right. It's been quite awhile since I saw the movie.

Either way, I wasn't impressed and I usually have no problem with mindless action movies.

Its a hollywood movie meant for entertainment.

Most people here want a 100% realistic training video that has some hot chicks in it.  This is not that movie.

Its a good movie, quite a bit of action.  Enjoy it as a movie...not a documentary.

i've never seen it but remember the original  tv series from the 70s.
So  i predict:
All the main characters/heroes are now black.
All the criminals/terrorists are middle aged white guys.

Collin Ferrel fags up another movie, it's the typical remake movie, stupid, big name douchebags that aren't casted well

If you're not constantly thinking about how tier 1 tactical you are throughout the entire movie, its entertaining.

I just don't like Colin Farrell.  He seems like the type to think he is just as bad ass as the characters he plays.

I liked it and found it entertaining. That's what movies are supposed to do. They added parts that made it more realistic. Like when the police are doing the press statement and say that the bad guys had AK-47s when in reality the one had a suppressed 92FS and the other one a Tec-9. You know they do that in real life! haha
The DVD has some cool extras, about how they captured the gun sounds, and they have a couple cool featurettes about a couple of the guns used...the M4, AK, Kimber, and MP5.
