Hi all,

Does anyone have a source on SPEAR jackets at a decent price? The cheapest I can find them on the net is $110, but I know they're supposed to be in the high $60 range. It's gettin' cold in Colorado, and these seem like a warm, functional, and good-looking choice. Any leads?

e-bay's about it.  The best time to buy was two months ago though, when it was warm.

Ebay is the place to be.

I'm wearing mine right now that I got there for $60. Spear fleece jacket with my Mechanix brand camo gloves and I'm practical to tactical before you can say General Black Jack Pershing!

Call Peckham Industries and talk to Cheryl Wright. Her phone number is 1-517-319-8449. Her Email is [email protected]. I can email you a two page flyer they sent me, the SPEARS polarfleece tops run about $65.00.

The brand name is new to me. Why are they special?

SPEAR is the black fleece jacket you see SpecOps types wearing.. they're very warm and have zippered vent slits under the arms.

Ranger, could you email me that flyer? [email protected]

A group buy would sure be nice...

I was in the Lansing area. After downloading their PDf cataog I called Cheryl and she hooked me up.  I was able to stop by the front desk and pick up my gear.  BTW the Marine version of the SPEAR is much nicer. Peckham makes both.

I got mine used at a gun show for $20. Guy said it was navy surplus but who knows.Had sand and small rocks in the pockets. They really are nice and I really like the huge web pockets inside. They do not block wind at all and work best with a outer shell.

Go to online store / Special Forces / Second page
You can buy the complete SPEAR layering system or just the fleece jacket.
I have spent a good deal of money through this website. They are in NY and provide excellent service & fast shipping.
They carry a lot of new issue Military clothing, boots, gear, etc.
