Does anyone use SK tools. My grand father and my dad say they have never broken on of their SK sockets. They both work with tools for a living, but I was wondering what you guys think of them.

Any quality made wrench will last a lifetime.

It all depends on the steel.

I've got a couple sets at work and use them all the time. No problems yet.

I've used them most all my life.
I think I still have a screwdriver that was purchased in the early sixties.
The only ones that ever broke, broke cause I broke  them not cause they were low quality.

Wow, I had not heard of them until very recently, seems like some people have been having much sucess with them though. Considering that they fall pretty much inbetween the price of the snapon and the Craftesman stuff, I think I will have to pick some up and give them a try.

I had an SK 3/8 drive ratchet set about 10 years ago that was subsequently stolen, along with my car. Excellent tools, better than Craftsman IMHO.

They're really good stuff.  I've got primarially snap-on and mac, though some of my new stuff is  craftsman now that I don't work on trucks daily anymore.  SK tools are closer to being snap-on quality than they are to craftsman quality.  They won't let you down.
