I want to purchase a very simple to use digital camera for my father. He is in his mid 70's and is not tech savvy. He gave up on his Garmin eTrex GPS because it was too confusing to operate.
I am looking for something that is quality but with minimal features. Kind of like that senior citizen cell phone "The Jitterbug" but in a digital camera. I am thinking he will not use anything other than the on/off, a zoom, and a shutter button. I will most likely be computer downloading any photos he takes or he will take out the card and put it in his digital photo frame. Any ideas? |

Nikon L18
I got one for my wife for christmas, she seems to be able to use it okay. From DPreview We should also mention the Nikon L18, which surprised us with its consistently good results and speedy performance, and has the largest screen here - though it is let down slightly by the lack of manual controls.
