Where would the forum for this be located?
Since it appears that it will be a prime candidate for an SBR should it be in the SPR forum?
This will be the firearm I can see myself getting SBR'd, never cared for the 5.56 versions but a modern 9MM

Being discussed in the Armory Sig Rifles forum. Pistol Caliber Carbines would also apply as well.

Well, if you need it right now, you don't really have a choice, as the Sig isn't generally available yet.

Even when they are released, they're going to be hella spendy for a long time.

You're looking at 2017 or later to be able to actually pay a reasonable price for one.

The Tavor 9mm is going to be a reasonable option before then.

This is the problem with the firearms industry.  Between market concerns, the fact that most shops are relatively small businesses (even the big boys have at most a few hundred employees), and all the regulations being completely different for both federal and state level governments - then add supply chain problems, import issues (if applicable), etc, etc...

It takes fuckin years from when a design is made and when you can actually buy it - if it ever even makes it to a gun store shelf at all.

Where's the VLTOR Bren Ten remake?  Gone.  Where's the Masada?  Screwed up and expensive as fuck, if you can even find one.

The Tavor is an anomaly, frankly, that it's even available within a year after "official release."

It took a giant like Smith & Wesson to make the Shield happen, and that's not even that radical of a product.

The MPX was announced when, something like 14-16 months ago?  You're going to wait that long again for it to be "released," and then that long again to actually be able to buy one.

Send in a Form 1 for a suppressor tube now and you'll have it in your pocket long before you have an MPX brake to put it on.
