Anyone here keep round count spreadsheets for their guns? I recently started making them for each new gun and I really like having the all the information such as dates, ammo used, etc.

I don't even know what kind of MPG my vehicles get. It is what it is.

I track the boxes of primers I've put through guns.

Good god NO!
Is this a parody thread of the spread sheets for guns owned thread?

I also don't track how many holes my drill has made.

Nope.

The good stuff has a log book that stays close to the gun.

I keep spreadsheets for a lot of things, but round counts aren't one of them.

No.  I do keep an ammo inventory so I can see what I need to stock up on.

Just on my MC Operator, just have a little spreadsheet with rounds, kind of ammo, what type of range time like a competition, details if I cleaned and what lube.

round count is the most overplayed "stat" in the gun community.

anything you are selling... "What's the round count?"

what number is going to make a deciding factor? Its going to be large enough where you can tell visually where it may affect your decision, you dont actually need to know, you just need pictures.

its either

none
very few
a few
a shit load

those equate to

like new
slightly used
used
very used

Yup, I see no practical reason why I should care.

This.

Too many guns, too many matches.  Doesn't matter anyway.

I keep no spreadsheets.

I can see keeping one for precision rifle competitions, F-class or something like that, but not for anything else.

You have to triple encrypt them.

Then, hide the encrypted container in a folder with a terabyte of unlabeled Japanese granny pr0n clips.  Small clips.

No round count needed in 95%+ of situations....

The other five percent are for high use guns and bench match rifles...and some precision guns
