[tweet]https://x.com/RocketLab/status/2011159638339944865?s=20[/tweet] It’s also interesting that this was yesterday and Jared’s personal jet just landed in Huntsville this morning "I hope there’s 50 more Artemis missions to follow. And we could be leveraging our vehicle designs and SpaceX’s and Blue Origin’s. And we’ve got other players like Stoke and Rocket Lab that are building reusable vehicles," Isaacman said. "This is the start of a whole new era on the moon," he said, discussing a future American base and scientific outposts on the lunar surface. |

Watching this video now and thought I should post it to the thread. VERY interesting take on what SpaceX’s shift from Falcon 9 to Starship means for the private space industry. |

IMO: He is very correct on quite a few things on RKLB and the long game. It's just getting started. He is wrong on quite a few business model things regarding SpaceX. His statements are made in a vacuum with no depth of reaction. As a long game investor: I see SpaceX joining the S&P500 (Q2 2029) before RKLB. If it drops down to $70ish, I'll add to our position strongly. Unless Peter Beck passes away or RKLB gets DQ'ed, I'm holding our position until SnP500 inclusion in 2030+ |

My main issue with his business model break down was a "snap of fingers" RKLB is going to replace this value in the graph. Let me get this straight: You have a rocket motor that is now stand functional. Ready to deploy in 2025 but now delayed not until Q3 2026 SpaceX is just going to drop the revenue from the Falcon 9 and walk away without a transition plan? see graph again RKLB is going to build an infrastructure and be able to support doing 165 launches a year within the next 3 years, convincing folks to put $100m satellites on their rockets from the start and get up and running? LOL Then voila, profitable and S&P500 inclusion. uhhh no. Attached File Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan and as mentioned, riding this one to the "end" with 2,000 shares currently. But replace SpaceX? That Ipo and business is going to crush everything else. I stand on my prediction of Spacex inclusion before RKLB. Not a bad or good thing just the pace of the business models and revenue generation. |

I don’t know that anyone thinks that Rocket Lab will overtake SpaceX in terms of market cap. That said at current valuations I’d say that an investment in RKLB will probably outperform. SpaceX will no doubt be added to the S&P as soon as eligible, money managers will demand it. I honestly haven’t even put much thought into RKLB getting included as A) it’s years away at a minimum and B) the stock is already hitting highs that I thought would take significant catalysts w/o hitting them (yet) |

If it was taken above mission limits as a test it might now have much of an impact on Neutron’s schedule. It’s unlikely that the first tank was ever going on a mission anyway, had it not failed it probably would have been tested repeatedly until it did. Apparently another tank is already in the works or possibly on its way. |
