Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Roadside trouble thread

Some time ago there was a thread about someone's friend or a news story about a guy broke down along side the road and the guy who stopped to help was beaten with a tire iron as he looked under the hood.  

Need to find the story as proof it happens(brother may be heading into familiar situation now) and my google fu sucks.

Probably not if she doesn't have a 100 guy friends that want to nail her to help.
