If a body wanted to drive to Jackson Mississippi from the north which route would be best due to the storm?  Patty

probrobly call the local hwy division there and get the 411.

Its far enough from the coast that either I-55 or I-20 should be good. Regular routes when coming from the north or the west.

You're right. My cousin called in earlier today(hauling cigs from Darlington to Ok.) and had big problems with downed trees from tornadoes. I believe he was in eastern Ms. at the time.
