| I have a couple old plastic tool boxes that I'd like to repurpose so I'm looking for ideas. One is on the smaller side and the other is a medium size Black & Decker box. |

Make one a cleaning kit for your guns. That's what I did with one of mine, the other stays in my car as an "oh shit" kit (essentially a tool box for roadside repairs) This is what I did with mine. Throw a bunch of cheap harbor freight wrenches, screw drivers, socket set in there along with hose clamps and fuses. I figure this way if I lose something on the road side or someone breaks in and steals it I'm not out a ton of cash. |
I have several old field service tool boxes. One has propane hoses, propane bottles, bulk tank adapters, lantern, and a MR. Heater for camping. Another has traveling implements for BBQ, such as spatula, tongs, seasoning, apron, gloves, zip lock bags, matches, wet wipes, etc. Another is a Menudo kit, complete with canned menudo, hominy, seasonings, pan, compact gas fueled burner, bowls, spoons, etc. ![]()

Damn another place to waste more time I don't have.

Old-school tag because I have no fewer than five plastic tool boxes/tackle boxes that I'm looking for something to do with.
Two of them were my gun-cleaning and range-bag kits, respectively. The other three were my electrical kit, plumbing kit, and one that I was given as a gift or something and never used. |
