Mainline to Conservative Christian 98% Catholic 91% I'll agree with the poll's result. I was raised Catholic and agree with most of the Catholic teachings, however I would be perfectly happy to be a Babtist also. Is there a religion that has the hokey pagentry of the Catholic Mass ( I like the pretty statues, priest's robes, incense, fun traditions, etc..) but concentrates more on bible teachings than the Catholic faith?

I always felt the same way, organized religion always seemed to me to be all about money, and services just spiritually dead. Not to mention in some cases scandal ridden. It's no suprise people don't go to church! Just as a purely friendly suggestion, see if you can find a non-denominational Christian church. I recently found one meeting in the high school auditorium, and it's great! YMMV. I never realized how important attending church was when it comes to maintaining your sanity in a secular world. But it makes a huge difference. Sorry for the hijack...on with your regularly scheduled programming!

I'm asking for hands to be uplifted in just a moment. God the father and the Holy Spirit are reaching out to embrace you. I want you to reach deep into your hearts, and your pocketbooks and take his hand. Some of you are in a state of rebellion...
