I paid $800 for my refurb with kit lens.  Still feel like it was a great deal.I love it. I only use it for scale model pictures, so I am not using it to its full potential. Friend at work just picked up an R8 for $1000 off FB Marketplace. I said, I'm afraid to buy one from a random person off the street. He said, when he pulled up and it was a great neighborhood, he felt better. When the guy answered the door and he was Asian, he said he felt really good. When he asked about the shutter count, and the guy explained to him how that wasn't a thing, he knew he was at the right place. The guy was upgrading to something better like an R5 or R3. |

Not a bad deal for an entry level camera for someone who just wants to get their feet wet or maybe just wants to be a hobbyist. I would still recommend the Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary lens for the RF-S mount.
