Will it be ok to put a vertical forword grip an an AR-15 pistol after the sunset? And if anyone has the extra time what changes will apply to AR pistols in general ? Thanks!

I think it would be considered an SBR if you did that, so the AWB wouldnt affect it.  I may be wrong.

Nope. That would make it an AOW under the NFA.
However, you'll be able to put a handguard ("barrel
shroud") on it after the AWB sunsets.

FYI: An AOW can be registered as a NFA weapon
(tax stamp, background check, LEO signoff, etc).
